Kaduna State Governor,Nasir El- Rufai on Saturday lost his polling unit to the Peoples Democratic Party PDP as the PDP swept his polling unit in the local government election..
The Governor who voted in his Ungwar Sarki polling unit in Kaduna North Local Government Area ruled out any desperation to win at all costs saying he was concerned about improving the Electronic Voting Machine.
He said the introduction of the electionic voting machine by his administration had shown that the APC believed in doing things right and not to cheat or rig election.
The result of the unit as declared by the Presiding Officer revealed that the PDP polled 86 votes out of 159 votes cast to beat the APC who scored 62 in the Chairmanship election. The PDP also beat APC in the councillorshp election scoring 100 out of 162 votes against APC ,53 votes.
