Patience Inema BobManuel

Radio is a medium of Communication referred to as blind due to its mono technology in transmission of sound waves that are audible unlike Television which has a combination of sound and visual images.

Presenters are the unseen face but celebrated voices of radio programmes as they are responsible for introducing news segments, reading news bulletins, linking programmes and interviewing guests on shows .

The roll call of experienced men and women in Radio Rivers 99 .1 Fm who are dynamic, upbeat, imaginative and knowledgeable in presenting programmes that not only arrest the attention of the listener but enlighten and educate the listening audience are inexhaustble.

One of such great presenters is Patience Inema BobManuel.

BobManuel,a native of Abonema in Akuku Toru Local Government Area ( AKULGA) was trained at home and abroad. She attended Alpha Institute of Broadcasting, Prime Collage of Arts, Takoradi, Western Ghana where she studied Mass Communication.

BobManuel has been in the broadcast Industry for 12 years and worked at Steam Broadcasting OAP COOL 95.9FM where she anchored the Mid day OASIS 11 AM to 4 PM Mondays To Fridays in 2010

Between 2012-2016, BobManuel worked at Paragons Radios 99.9 FM Takoradi, Western Ghana and co- anchored the “Paragon High Way” broadcast Monday to Friday 3 PM- 6 PM

She left for Rhythm 93.7 Port Harcourt in 2017 and was Co- host of the Program” Ladies First” aired from 8PM to 12 PM

In 2018, the beautiful and soft spoken star debuted at Wish FM 99.5 Port Harcourt and anchored the” Morning Show”. She also handled programme on the Economy and the Family which was aired on Fridays at 11- 12AM. One year after, she was courted by Love FM,97.7 Port Harcourt and was anchor of “Tender Heart ” a program she presented so tenderly and dearly until May 2021.

At Radio Rivers 99.1 FM, BobManuel counts as one who has always been around . Since 2016, She has been working arduously adding her voice of experience to the station. She currently co- anchors the morning programme” Day Break 99 “

Speaking on her choice for broadcasting, BobManuel said her reason stemmed from the fact that the profession was not only noble but gives voice to the voiceless” It’s a noble profession which gives voice to the common man,educate and enlighten the elite and the voice of sanity.”.

She said she was inspired by veterans in the Industry like Siene Allwell Brown, Donu Kogbara, Medlyn Tadore,Late Dafini Gogo Abbey,Kudo Eresia- Eke and many others.

On what makes her happy, Bobmanuel who said she is happily divorced, declared” Humanitarian works makes me happy,,A happy Mum and Grandmum, Giving, Cooking, Broadcasting, Travelling and meeting people, learning new culture,food,tradition and language all make me happy”
