I Appreciate Your Kind Prayers & Wishes on My Birthday “, Achinike William- Wobodo, Lawyer, Public Advocate/ Analyst gave a background to the setbacks suffered in the build up to his birthday on Thursday 16th September.2021 and why he decided to celebrate it his own way despite the challenging circumstances
“Thursday 16 September, 2021 was a special day (in) of my life. I turned 50. Yes, 50years of Age. I marked it quietly, but very joyfully. When I recalled all that God has done for me, the breath of life, I couldn’t be happier. Thank you very much.
“My Testimony!
My Birthday provided a true experience of what it meant to say: “Man proposes and God disposes”. Firstly, I planned to mark my 50th Birthday in some kind of grand celebration. Shortly after that proposal in my heart, I suffered a serious Business Loss, capable to unsettling a man. Then, I modified my plan to a close circle dinner. I knew that I had Exams fixed for Monday and Tuesday of that week. Sadly, for some circumstances within the larger community of the School (Southeast), my Exams were moved to Thursday (my Birthday) and Friday. Again, for some strange circumstance the school environment that I was in had no power within the period, and so my phone was dead.
“I glossed over my experience and moved on, but God has continually burdened my heart to share this as a testimony. God (Jesus Christ) is the author and finisher of our faith and He knows better. To obey is better than sacrifice and to hearken than the fat of rams. To God be the Glory.
