The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA has arrested four persons in a hotel in Abuja where drugs are allegedly sold and young girls camped as commercial sex workers.
In a statement on Sunday the Agency’s Spokesman, Femi Babafemi said three ladies and a man.were arrested when operatives of the Agency on September 22 raided the said drug Joint, JAT Suites located at 30 Lobito Crescent,Wuse 2 and recovered quantities of Rohypnol and paraphernalia- for smoking crack cocaine.
The hotel is allegedly operated without proper approvals in the high profile neighborhood of the Federal Capital Territory and patronised by call girls who gather at the bar with their customers to buy and smoke the hard drugs
According to Babafemi, the Chairman,Chief Executive of NDLEA,Brig. Gen. Mohammed Buba Marwa has directed the FCT Command and the Directorate of Assets and Financial Investigations of the agency to do all they can within the law to ensure the property is forfeited to the federal government to serve as a deterrent to others who allow their premises to be used for drug dealing..
