The management of FCT water board has taken its campaign on efficient service delivery to Asokoro Area office of the Federal Capital Territory , Abuja.
Prior to this time, the flagship campaign has gone to other areas like Kubwa 1 and 2, Karu/Nyanya, Gwagwalada, Wuse and others.
The Acting General Manager, Dr Joy Okoro, stressed on the importance of water, which according to her, ”humans can’t survive without it”.
She further added that FCT water board has been established to give quality water to its esteemed customers and FCT at large, being the capital City.
Among the pressing complaints the customers tabled before the management are: issue of non-reflection, over-billing, malfunctioning meters among others.
The GM again added that a new water station is under construction to better serve the people of the area, especially those situated on the hill tops.
She encouraged FCT customers to pay dues on time to avoid disconnection, and to further improve revenue generation and provide better service delivery.
According to Dr Okoro, ” Abuja has the best water in pH level in the whole of Nigeria”.
The customers present at the forum lauded the management and its team of workers for their commendable work and tireless efforts displayed at resolving issues and complaints.
Furthermore, the GM implored her customers and the general public to always put a call through at the sight of any pipe burst in their environs, since the management offers first hand social services.
