The Court of Appeal sitting in Port Harcourt says the PDP National Convention slated for October 30 and 31,2021 will go on as fixed by the party..
A three member panel of Justices led by , Justice H. S Tsammani refused the application by the appellant,Prince Uche Secondus saying he did not file his suit early enough as the PDP already concluded the planning of the convention before he took action against the party
While the National Convention has been given a go ahead, the court however,did not rule on the other pending cases between the embattled National chairman, Prince Uche Secondus and the PDP.
Other members of the Justices panel are T. Y Hassan and G. O Kolawole who wrote the lead ruling.
