The Federal Government has sent a Circular to Federal Civil Servants asking them to avail themselves of the Covid-19 vaccine at designated Government centres.
The Centres are Federal Staff Clinic, Federal Secretariat Complex Phase 1,
Federal Ministry of Works Clinic, Mabushi
Federal Ministry of Finance Staff Clinic and Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources Staff Clinic
In a statement on Friday, the Head of Service, Dr Folashade Yemi- Esan said other centres nation wide are contained in the website of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency.
Yemi-Esan said that the Federal Government has approved a vaccine mandate for all its employees adding that civil servants are to show proof of Covid-19 vaccination or to present a negative a Covid PCR test done within 72 hours.
She directed all civil servants from level 12 and below to resume work on December 1
She recalled that workers in that category were asked to work from home as part of measures to control the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.
She requested all Permanent Secretaries and Heads of Government Agencies and Extra- Ministerial Officers to ensure strict compliance of the directives.
