Gunmen on Sunday morning attack two oil fields in Bayelsa State killing three persons and abducting seven oil workers in Bayelsa State.
The incident took place at Okoroma and Ogbokiri- Akassa communities of Nembe and Brass Local Government Areas of the state.
Current matters gathered that the gunmen ambushed their victims and instantly shot dead two staff of the Nigerian Agip Oil Company and a personnel of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps.( NSCDC)
Spokesman of the NSCDC in Bayelsa State,Ogbere Solomon who confirmed the incident said a staff of the NSCDC was killed while two others who were missing, have been found and are receiving treatment at a medical facility in Yenegoa.
