South African President,Cyril Ramaphosa has tested positive for COVID-19 despite being fully vaccinated.
A statement issued by the Presidency on Sunday said the president is treating mild symptoms of the virus and has gone into self isolation in Cape Town.
The statement added that the president has delegated responsibilities to Deputy President, David Mabuza until next week.
