After months of foot dragging on the organization of the National Convention, the All Progressives Congress APC has fixed February 26 to elect new members that would direct the affairs of the party at the national level.
The Chairman Caretaker/ Extraordinary Convention Planning Commitee , Mai Mala Buni made the announcement on Tuesday, January 18 at the All Progressives Congress Women’s Conference in Abuja .
Buni, who is also the Governor of Yobe State disclosed that the APC registered over 40 million members in the revalidation exercise it held last year and assured that with that number,victory is sure for the party in 2023 general elections.
The announcement of a national convention date brings to an end controversies and speculations of attempt by the Caretaker Committee to remain in charge longer than neccessary.
