Parents of Students in Ukraine on Monday took their condemnation of the war in Ukraine to the Russian Embassy in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory FCT.
The parents who carried placards were seen chanting peaceful resolution of the crisis
Some parents spoke with our correspondent saying ” We are afraid of the situation our children are in.” and called for an end to the conflict to enable the children go back to school.
” No parent will be happy to hear that the country where his or her child is studying is suddenly engulfed in war which is why we have come here to express our displeasure and grieviances about what is going on in Ukraine. “
