……..As Rivers Governor assures, i”t is time for politics of stomach infrastructure”
Bauchi State Governor,Bala Mohammed has given kudos to Rivers Governor Nyesom Wike for what he called exemplary leadership that is focused and determined to affect the lives of the people.
Gov. Mohammed who spoke while commissioning the Oruabali Flyover in Port Harcourt on Tuesday said that Wike would be required at the national level to replicate the good work he is doing in Rivers State.
He noted that as a second tenure governor, Wike has proved beyond reasonable doubt of possessing overwhelming enthusiasm and competence needed for the growth of the country.
The Visiting Governor who remarked ” Iam not a praise singer” recalled that he flagged off the construction of the Rumukrushe- Elimgbu Flyover on Monday adding that if Wike is not a performing Governor,he would not step foot on Rivers soil.
He noted that the PDP is proud of the achievements of the Rivers Governor who has ensured continuity in government by completing abandoned projects and initiating new ones
Earlier, Governor Wike had said that there were people in the state who initially expressed doubts about the sincerity of purpose of his government
Wike said, to the glory of God,, his government has delivered on its promise to construct 10 flyovers as part of his urban renewal and development plan
He said that the additional flyovers built by his administration would be ready for commissioning in April.
The governor assured that now that his administration has matched words with action in providing quality projects for the benefit of the people of the state, the time has come for him to,” play the politics of stomach infrastructure”
