The Anglican Diocese on the Niger has relieved one of its clergymen,Rev. Canon Lumenkriti Ebo , for offering” sexual healing” and impregnating a woman in search of spiritual healing in his church.
The church disclosed that the priest told the deliverance seeking woman who had come to his Adoration ministry that she had to sleep with him to get healing.
Ebo was also accused of accommodating his legal wife outside of her matrimonial home
As a result of the acts,the Diocese has withdrawn the ordination licence of Ebo
Bishop on the Niger, Rt Rev. Owen Nwokolo said the withdrawal of the license was neccessary as the acts aee capable of undermining the reputation of the church.
Ebo had earlier cried out over what he called witch-hunt and unjust treatment meted to him by strong forces in the church.
He alleged that the forces even took his wife from him and rented an undisclosed apartment for her.
Ebo who claimed he remain a priest with special call by God to heal the sick, however said” What I did was turn in my resignation as priest of the Diocese on the Niger to my lord Bishop, Owen Nwokolo.
