A House of Representatives hopeful and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Etsako Federal Constituency in Edo State, Chief Richard Oshiokhai Lamai, has applauded a former National Chairman of the Party, Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole for his sportsmanship in endorsing the South South Unity list that led to the emergence of a new crop of APC Leaders in the Zone.
In his congratulatory message, Chief Richard Lamai, said the sportsmanship displayed by the former Edo Governor with other Leaders and critical Stakeholders of the Party from the Zone was a clear demonstration of their love and commitment towards the success of the National Convention.
The APC Chieftain, also used the medium to congratulate the newly elected South-South Zonal Organizing Secretary and former Edo Governorship Aspirant of the Party, Chief Blessing Agbomhere.
He expressed the confidence that Agbomhere has the leadership qualities and the experience to garner support for the party in the Zone ahead of the 2023 general election.
The Frontline House of Representatives aspirant also congratulated all the elected Executive of the Party from South South for their emergence.
While soliciting for support and cooperation for the newly elected party Executives, Chief Lamai also thanked the Delegates for their confidence in electing the members of the National Working Committee (NWC) that will pilot the affairs of the Party in the next four years.
Chief Lamai noted that, the success of the National Convention was a clear testimony that APC is united, strong and accepted by Nigerians irrespective of party divides.
The notable Politician reiterated that with the emergence of Agbomhere as the South South Organizing Secretary, the Party was sure of reclaiming more States in the Region, adding that better days are ahead of the members of the Party in the Region.
Other congratulatory messages came from friends and associates of Agbomhere, including Chief Barthy Okhipo, the Vice Chairman, Movie Producers Association, Abuja Chapter.
78 elected officials under the Chairmanship of Senator Abdullahi Adamu were sworn in after the consensus agreement.
The All Progressives Congress National Convention was held on Saturday, March 26th, 2022 at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
