High Chief Dr Caro Nwosu, a former Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, has declared her interest to contest the Presidential election in 2023 under the African Action Congress.
Dr Nwosu, who made this known in an exclusive interview with Global News Network team of Senior Journalists in Abuja, said that she will unite and enthrone the Nigerian citizen as the prime resource of Nigerians.
Nwosu, who is a global consultant on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and a Philantropist, explained that her vision is to rescue the political system by involving an all-inclusive peoples government in Nigeria and harness the huge resources and talents in our human capital for nation building.
She promised to promote peace, order and good government whose primary objective shall be the welfare and security of all citizens founded on the principles of freedom, equality and justice when elected as President in 2023.
Dr Caro Nwosu, who was decorated with a prestigious award of international Ambassador of Peace and Conflict Mediation when she singlehandedly sponsored herself to negotiate with King Goodwill Zwelithini Zulu of South Africa over the Xenophobic attack against Nigerians and other African countries in 2014, assured Nigerians of all inclusive and participatory democracy at all levels of government.
‘This is in the belief that sovereignty belongs to the people from whom government, through the Nigerian constitution derives its power and authority. Under my watch as President, I will also promote rapid and sustainable growth in the agricultural and micro, small and medium enterprise sectors through modernization of the means of production so as to ensure food security and economic development’.
Dr Nwosu, an exemplary Nigerian and a model of excellence noted that if given the opportunity to be President in 2023, she will facilitate rapid and sustainable development in Education, Science and Technology by promoting research and development.
High Chief Nwosu, who is a Graduate of Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Health System and Humanity from Howard University, Catholic University, and Michigan University, all in the United States, was the initiator of the signing of peace accord by political parties in Nigeria after hosting the first in her house.
Among the traditional Titles and Awards earned include 53 Chieftaincy titles and over 200 awards of excellence by various entities among which is Chairman, Wind of Peace Foundation, a unique NGO with diverse local, national and international reputation.
High Chief Dr Caro Nwosu is among the few Female Presidential hopefuls vying for Nigeria’s top job in 2023.
