As troops of 27 Task Force Brigade celebrated Eid-El Fitri, at Buni – Gari, Yobe State, the Commander 27 Task Force Brigade, Brigadier General BP Koughna, has charged them to redouble their efforts in the fight against insurgency.
General Koughna urged them not to lose their guard but raise fighting spirit in the ongoing battle against Boko -Haram and ISWAP in the North East.
“This is necessary if emerging contemporary security challenges is to be dealt with and if our statutory duty of defending the territorial integrity of the country is to be fulfilled,’’ he said.
The troops also expressed their appreciation to the Commander for always giving them his full support during war and peace time. They also reiterated their commitment to the maintainance of maximum onslaughts against the
insurgents.
