The Independent National Electoral Commission( INEC) has announced the release of Regulations and guidelines which constitute the legal framework for the conduct of the 2023 General Election.
Chairman of INEC, Professor Mahmoud Yakubu said that with the guidelines and regulations out,the commission is set for the conduct of the election.
He said” With the coming into force of the Electoral Act 2022,it has become neccessary to review the Commission’s Regulations and Guidelines to govern the conduct of the elections. “
According to him the document is ready and will be presented to Nigerians shortly adding” The soft copy will be uploaded to our website with the link shared on our social media platforms.
