
The Nigerian Army says its troops of 26 Task Force Brigade have found one Mary Ngoshe believed to be one of the abducted school girls of Government Girls Secondary School Chibok,Borno State.
Mary was found with a little boy believed to be her son.
The Army disclosed this via its verified Twitter page on Wednesday morning.
It said” Troops of 26 Task Force Brigade on patrol around Ngoshe in Borno State on 14 June 2022 intercepted one Mrs Mary Ngoshe and her son. She is believed to be one of the abducted girls from GGSS Chibok in 2014. Further exploitation loading”.
On April 14,2014, Boko Haram insurgents invaded the GGSS Chibok and abducted 276 girls preparing for their final exams.
Of the number,164 of the students reportedly made their way out of captivity. They were said to have escaped, released or found while 109 are still missing.
Since the abduction, no fewer than twenty four parents of the Chibok girls have passed away.
