Ondo State Governor Okuwarotimi Akeredolu ( SAN) has mandated the use of Close Circuit Television! CCTV) in private and public institution’s across the state to forestall the rising cases of insecurity
Consequently, the governor has signed an executive order backing the mandatory installation and use of CCTV in the state
According to a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Richard Olatunde, institutions affected include Educational institutions,, Religious Centres, financial institutions,Event Centres and Supermarkets
Others are hotels,motels restaurants,guest houses,inns, clinics and health centers as well as vehicular parks
It added that violators wil be prosecuted in accordance with Section 203 of the Criminal Code ( Cap.37)Laws of Ondo State.
