The Nigerian Senate on Wednesday
confirmed 7 ministerial nominees after a four hour screening session.
On June 21,2022,President Muhammadu Buhari sent a list of seven nominees to the Senate for confirmation as Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The development followed the resignation of some Ministers to pursue their aspiration for elective offices in the country.
The confirmed Ministerial designates are Umana Okon Umana! Akwa Ibom), Managing Director of the Oil and Gas Free Zone Onne, Henry Ikechukwu Ikoh (Abia) and Ekunankama Joseph Nkama ( Ebonyi)
Others are Umar Ibrahim El – Yakub ( Kano), Goodluck Nana Opiah (Imo) Ademola Adegoroye ( Ondo) and Udi Odum ( Rivers).
