Rivers State Police Commissioner, Friday Eboka has ordered full – scale investigation into the murder of Assistant Superintendent of Police ( ASP) Chris Josiah by unknown gunmen.
ASP Josiah was attached to Afam Divisional Headquarters but met his untimely death on June 28th while returning home from work..
The deceased police officer was reportedly ambushed by a gang of five gunmen who opened fire and killed him in his Lexus RX 300 SUV along Assemblies of God Church ,Obeama Community in Oyigbo Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, Grace Woyengikuro Iringe – Koko Thursday said that CP Eboka has ordered a manhunt for the criminals with a view to bringing them to justice.
