Bandits have attacked the advance team of President Muhammadu Buhari’s convoy comprising security guards and aides around Dutsinma , Katsina state.
Two people were injured in the incident.
The Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity,Garba Shehu confirmed the attack in a statement on Tuesday.
He said the advance team was heading for Daura, the president’s home town ahead of Salah when the attack occurred.
