The Catholic Diocese of Kafanchan in Kaduna State has announced the death of Rev Fr John Mark Chietnum, one of its two priests abducted last Friday from the rectory of the Christ the King Catholic Church,Yadin Garu in Lere Local Government Area of the state.
In a statement on Tuesday, Rev Fr Emmanuel Uchechukwu Okolo said while Rev Fr John Mark Chietnum was killed and his decomposing body found on Tuesday, the other priest, Rev Fr Donatus Cleopas escaped from the kidnapper’s den.
