A United States based Nigerian Cleric, Pastor Adeniyi Adebisi says it is important for people to have the knowledge of God’s purpose in their lives in order to put them in the right perspective.
Adebisi said this in a sermon he delivered on Sunday at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Living Spring International Center, Granville,West Virginia.
The cleric who oversees the parish told worshippers that knowing God’s purpose for their lives means they need to know God and build a relationship with him.
He said that Jesus was only 12 years old when he discovered his purpose on earth, backing his teaching using relevant biblical scriptures.
The man of God said that the lack of relationship with God through Jesus and lack of Gods purpose of life was the reason people dabble into ventures that are unfulfilling.
He told the congregation to seek God who alone has the power to direct and better their lives and prayed for God’s mercy on the sinful nature of man.
Earlier, the wife of the Pastor,Mrs Oluwatoyin Adeniyi – Adebisi had also charged the worshippers on the same theme of having relationship with God to put them on the right path of life.
Other highlights of the church service were special rendition by the choir, praise and worship and presentation of welfare packages.
