The four Reverend Sisters abducted by gunmen in Imo State on Sunday morning have regained their freedom.
The Rev Sisters were abducted along -Omulolo axis of the Okigwe – Enugu road on their way to attend Mass when the gunmen whisked them away.
The Secretary General of the Sisters of Jesus: The Saviour,Sister Zita Ihedoro in a statement on Tuesday.expresed Joy over the unconditional and safe release of the four Rev sisters.
The statement said ” Today is a memorable day for us, therefore,we wish to share this joy with all men and women of Goodwill who, was in one way or the other, have contributed to the quick and safe release of our dear sisters.
” We sincerely appreciate and thank you for your prayers and moral support during the difficult moment.
” May Jesus the Saviour whom we have come to serve,bless, protect and provide for you, especially in times of difficulty”.
