President of the Rotary Club of Port Harcourt Seaport Prince Jenewari Eleki said Rotary’s commitment to creating a healthier world goes beyond the eradication of polio.
He said Rotary members are devoted to fighting all diseases and providing services to the one in six people in the world who can’t afford to pay for health care.
“In Rotary, we have projects in various areas of focus when it comes to health, such as disease prevention and treatment, improving mother and child health, providing clean water, sanitation and hygiene. We want to partner with a professional body of doctors to be able to deliver these services to especially those who don’t have access to basic health. We are asking for a continuous partnership not a one off, so together, we will be able to provide free health care service to thousands of families in the state” Rotarian President, Jenewari said.
