Gunmen on Sunday night attacked Celestial Church in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital killing two and injuring three worshippers.
Current Matters gathered that the incident happened at the Blood of Jesus Chapel of the Church located in Felele area of Lokoja
The invaders were said to have stormed the church premises and opened fire on the worshippers. Those who. sustained gunshots injuries were taken to the Federal Medical Center Lokoja for treatment.
Police Spokesperson in Kogi, William Aya who confirmed the incident said that the Commissioner of Police Edward Egbuka, Command, has ordered an investigation.
