Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike of Rivers State has been speaking on several road projects he promised the people of Etche Local Government Area on assumption of office which he completed and delivered.
The governor who disclosed this on Monday during the Flag off of the PDP campaign in Okehi, the headquarters of Etche Local Government Area said that he had also zoned the Rivers East Senatorial Ticket to Etche to give the people a sense of belonging and urged them to reciprocate the kindness by turning out enmasse to vote for candidates of the party in the state while also urging them to wait for further directive from leaders of the LGA for the Presidential election.
He accused PDP members in Abuja for engaging in anti – party activities saying that they have colluded with smaller parties in the state against them. He assured that he would respond to them by tomorrow .
Earlier, the PDP Gubernatorial candidate for Rivers State, Simiialayi Fubara had assured the people of the state of victory at the February 25 and March 11,2023 elections given the success of the Wike administration in the delivery of dividends to the people.
Popularly called SIM, the guber candidate said his administration would ensure that state assets will not be sold to friends while also ensuring that salaries of workers are paid regularly in addition to continuity with projects that will accelerate further development of the state.
To ensure the continuation of good governance, Sim appealed to the people to take advantage of the window of extension by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC and collect their PVCS adding that it is the weapon with which to vote for the candidates of the party to reciprocate the kind gesture of the state government.
