The National Electoral Commission INEC has formally opened the 2023 Presidential Election Collation Centre.
INEC Chairman,Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu announced it at the International Conference Center, venue of the collation center in Abuja on Sunday afternoon.
Yakubu said the scope of transmission of results begins from the polling units to the ward, local government and state including cancellations from the collation centres across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory FCT..
INEC has by the formal opening collation center, set the stage for the announcement of the presidential results even as voting is ongoing in some states of the Federation.
He appealed to the media to report only results announced by INEC
