……. Says election credible, arithmetically correct
Nigeria ‘s President – elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has described his election as a new dawn which has landed in the country.
Tinubu made the remark while giving his acceptance speech as President – elect on Wednesday 1st March shortly after his declaration as Winner of the February 25 2023 presidential election.
Tinubu, popularly known as the jagaban flanked by his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu assured that his electioneering promise of prosperity has come.
He commended the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC for conducting a credible election which he said was so adjudged by the international community and arithmetically correct.
While taking time to acknowledge the contributions of those towards the success of his election, the former governor of Lagos called on his rivals to join hands to build the country together.” We must work for the unity, happiness and harmony” of the country.
Tinubu said” we have what is needed, knowledge creativity and determination” to drive the country forward.
On the youths, he said “we are going to chart the course together.”assuring that “education will be prioritized, credit will be available,4 years course will be 4 years course, no more strikes and no more handouts”.
Seated at the hall of his acceptance speech were the Vice President -elect, Senator Kashm Shettima, Governor Babajide Sanwo – Olu of Lagos, Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau, Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi, Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno, Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa and Governor Adullahi Ganduje of Kano state
Others were Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun state, the National Chairman of the APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, National Secretary of the APC , Isiola Omisore and Speaker of the House of Representatives,Femi Gbajabiamila and a handful of other dignitaries of the party.
