Presidential candidate of the Labour party,in the just concluded election , Peter Obi said the election process was marred by irregularities and pointed out that he was bound to challenge the outcome.
Obi claimed that the election was not free and fair adding that the Vice presidential candidate of the Labour party,Dati Ahmed and he would not relent in ensuring that their stolen mandate was recovered.
On his part, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP said the February 25 election was the worst conducted in the history of the country.
According to him, the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC scuttled the dream and expectations of the people by conducting a flawed election adding that he would go to court to challenge the outcome.
However, the Presidential Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress ( APC PCC) in reaction to Obi and Atiku’s claim of winning the presidential election said they are ready to meet them in court
The council told Mr Obi to be prepared to tell the world how the Labour party scored over 90% of votes in the South East including states controlled by the APC PDP, and APGA.
” The Labour party also swept the entire South East states under the control of either APGA,PDP or APC.
” We believe that the Labour party Presidential Candidate contradicted himself and exposed himself to ridicule by suggesting that the election was only credible in states and places his party won”
For Atiku, the APC said it would never be intimidated by threats of going to court.
Its Spokesman,Festus Keyamo said that the PDP presidential candidate failed because he was unelectable as successive failures in his attempts at having a shot at the presidency showed .
