A meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at Ile-Tuntun area of Ibadan South East local government ended abruptly as gunmen suspected to be Political thugs invaded the gathering killing three people .
It was gathered that many persons were injured while several vehicles belonging to party supporters were damaged.
The state governor, Seyi Makinde is seeking a second term and is slugging it out with a formidable opponent and serving Oyo Central District Senator,Telsim Folarin of the All Progressives Congress APC in March 18 gubernatorial election.
Oyo is known for one term governorship cycle, however, analysts believe that Makinde is favoured to break the jinx as a result of his support for the president- elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in the February 25 Presidential election.
