Rev Fr.Hyacinth Alia, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has won the Benue state governorship election.
Alia polled 473,933 votes to defeat Titus Uba, the candidate of the Peoples Democracy Party (PDP), who received 223,913 votes, to be declared winner in the March 18 gubernatorial election in the state.
Herman Hembe ,a former federal lawmaker and candidate of the Labour Party (LP) polled 41,881 votes.
