Two female students of the Federal University, Gusau, ( FUGUS),the Zamfara state capital have been abducted by bandits.
The bandits reportedly armed , stormed a female rented hostel located at Sabon-Gida, village in Bungudu Local Government Area of the state and locked up the civilian guards before kidnapping two female students.
The victims identified as Maryam and Zainab are students of the Microbiology Department of the institution.
The police
have commenced search and rescue operation while also reinforcing security in the area according to Zamfara State Police Command’s Spokesman, Mohammed Shehu.
