A High Court sitting in the Federal Capital Territory ( FCT) Abuja has restrained Mr Julius Abure from parading as the National chairman of the Labour party
Justice Hamza Muazu gave the interim order Wednesday while ruling in an exparte application filed by some members of the party including Dr Abayomi Arabambi, the Party’s Publicity Secretary against Abure and three others.
The court also restrained the party’s National Secretary, National Organising Secretary and the National Treasurer.
The plaintiffs have accused the defendants of forgery, perjury, unlawful and fraudulent replacement of candidates of the party in the recent general election.
The judge said the order remains pending the hearing of the substantive suit which he fixed for April 17.
