Three officers who assaulted a yet-to-be-identified man in a viral video in Rivers have been arrested and being interrogated at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
The officers are Adeyor Siaka, Friday Obaka,both inspectors while the third is Ndiwa Kpuebari,a sergeant.
The Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, made this known on his Twitter handle on Tuesday evening.
The Rivers State Commissioner of Police CP Okon Effiong had on Monday ordered the arrest of the officers
Adejobi who condemned the action of the policeman said the affected personnel reported at the Force Headquarters today adding that the police will inform the public of development as trial commences soon.
“These are the men who slapped a man on the road in Rivers. They reported at the Force Headquarters today.
“Trial will soon commence. We will update you as soon as possible.
