A Notable Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State, Prince Akeem Zibiri, has urged Muslim Faithfuls to imbibe the lessons of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
In his Eid el Fitr Message, Prince Zibiri thanked Almighty God for the privilege given to Muslims to witness another Eid EL Fitri celebration, which marked the end the only month of Ramadan.
Prince Zibiri stressed that Ramadan is a sacred obligation to the Muslim Faithfuls and one of the five Pillars of Islam as taught in the Holy Quran.
According to him, “Muslims and Non Muslim alike should pray for the peace, progress and unity of the country”.
The APC Chieftain also urged Muslims to join hands together to build a prosperous and better country that Nigerians will be proud of in the comity of Nations.
He also enjoined Adherents of the Islamic Faith to sustain the virtues of tolerance, Forgiveness, Love, Patience, self discipline, sacrifice and genuine commitment to Fellow Nigerians irrespective of their religion, tribe or race as taught by Prophet Mohammed, the Merciful One (Peace Be Unto Him).
While felicitating with the Muslim Faithfuls, Prince Akeem Zibiri urged Muslims and all Nigerians to promote acts that can unite the country and wished all Muslims a blissful celebration.
