Nigeria will today inaugurate the President- elect, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari.
Tinubu was declared winner of the February 25 Presidential election among two rivals, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP and Peter Obi of the Labour party.
Already, the eagle square, venue of the swearing in ceremony has been Cordoned Off by security agencies to prevent breakdown of law and order.
At the state level, new governors are also getting ready to take over from their predecessors at their various designated centres.
In Rivers, Sir Siminilayi Fubara is leaving no one in doubt that he is set for the job as he gets prepared for the oath of office ceremony at the Adokjye Amiesimaka stadium later this morning.
As at 10 o’clock on Sunday morning, enthusiastic members of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP and well wishers of the new man in Rivers State were putting their ceremony attires in good forms to ensure colourful celebration.

A party stalwart,Madu who spoke to current matters expressed happiness for another year of hand over.
