President Bola Tinubu has named eight persons as special advisers, State House Director Information, Abiodun Oladunjoye says In a statement on Thursday,
Oladunjoye said the President appointed Dele Alake as his Special Adviser of Special Duties, Communications and Strategy and Yau Darazo as Special Adviser on Political and Intergovernmental Affairs.
He also appointed Nuhu Ribadu as his Special Adviser on Security and Wale Edun as Special Adviser on Monetary Policies.
Others appointed are Olu Verheijen as Special Adviser on Energy , Zachaeus Adedeji as Special Adviser on Revenue while John Uwajumogu was appointed Special Adviser, Industry, Trade and Investment, and Salma Anas Special Adviser, Health.
The statement said the appointments are with immediate effect .
The appointment of the 8 Special Advisers followed the president Tinubu’s request to the Senate on June 26, for approval of the appointment of 20 Special Advisers .
