First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has renamed the National Centre For Women Development ( NCWD) after Maryam Babangida,the deceased wife of former Military Head of State, General Ibrahim Babangida.
Tinubu arrived at the National Centre for Women Development (NCWD) on Tuesday to perform the renaming of the center which will now be known as the Maryam Babangida National Centre for Women Development.
In a statement, the Media aide to the First Lady, Busola Kukoyi said that during the event,Mrs Tinubu also unveiled her own picture in the hall of fame at the National Centre for Women Development.
According to the statement,the renaming ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, including the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, wives of state governors, former ministers, former legislators, and children of the late first Lady,Mohammed Babangida, and Aminu Babangida.
