President Bola Tinubu will make a National broadcast today (Monday) at 7pm,
This is contained in a statement issued by his spokesman,Dele Alake.
“Television, radio stations and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast,” The statement read.
Though the statement did not mention the reason for the presidential broadcast, current matters reports that it may not be unconnected with the travails of the citizens in the area of the effects of fuel subsidy removal, the fall of the Naira and the alleged rot in the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN of which he has appointed a financial expert to probe as well as the deafening echoes of impending strike action by medical doctors and the Nigeria Labour Congress over unsatisfactory negotiations.
