Former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike on Monday afternoon assumed duty after his swearing-in by the Chief Justice of the Federation at the presidential villa with a vow to take the FCT back to its original conceptual layout .
He arrived at the Secretariat of the Federal Capital Territory Administration ( FCTA)located at Area 11,Garki with the minister of state, Mariya Mahmud at about 1 pm
Speaking at a press conference, Wike said land allottee who have been given Certificates of Occupancy but yet to develop and instead became land spectators would have their C of Os revoked tto give way to those ready to build adding that those who built on unauthorized areas would have their buildings pull down.
“If you know you have built where you are not supposed to build, it will go down,”
