The Presidential Election Petition Court PEPC has begun sitting in Abuja to deliver judgement on the disputed outcome of the February 25 presidential election.
Former Vice President and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Peter Obi of the Labour party LP and the APM had dragged the winner of the election,Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress APC over alleged discrepancies in the election and double nomination of his Vice President..
The petitioners are also claiming that for one to be declared a winner in the presidential election, that scoring 25% in the Federal Capital Territory FCT in the total vote cast was sacrosanct .
The Vice President , Kashim Shettima, Chief of Staff,Femi Gbajiabiamila, Governors’of Imo,Yobe ,Kogi and others are in the court room on the side of the All Progressives Congress APC, May Agbamuche Mbu of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC is also in court, Also seated is Julius Abure of the LP .
