
Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has resolved the diplomatic face off between the United Arab Emirates UAE and Nigeria. following the trapped funds which the Arab nation is unable to repatriate and the suspension of flights in between the two countries.
The president who left for the UAE after his G20 meeting in New Delhi, India on Sunday,met with the authorities in Abu Dhabi where the two countries agreed on further strengthening bilateral relations.
They agreed on lifting immediate suspension of flights between the two countries and for the issuance of visas, both parties agreed that visas will only be issued to Nigerians after due scrutiny.
Prior to the suspension of flights, UAE Airline, Emirates had daily flights from Lagos and Abuja to Dubai and other destinations globally.
On the Nigerian side, Airpeace was the country’s Aircarrier to the UAE.
The development, is seen as good news by businessmen and women, students and tourists.
