The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has unfolded key priorities for the Nigerian aviation industry.
These include aerotropolis ,maintaince, repair, and operations Upgrade of infrastructure, landing system in major airports, aircraft leasing companies, to provide state of the art aircraft.
Keyamo who spoke at the 7th Aviation summit on Wednesday in Abuja regretted the problem of Forex scarcity in the country saying the present administration is aware that the lack of forex is a major problem and is committed to ensure that Forex is readily available . He added that the president has directed “the CBN to hold quarterly meetings with a view to resolve this issue”
He further revealed plans by the Tinubu administration to introduce tax holidays and duty free systems where goods purchased in areas such as in airports for international travellers are tax free.
