
As the Kano State Election Petition Tribunal convenes to deliver judgement on the March 18 Governorship election.
The All Progressive Congress (APC) and its candidate ,Yusuf Ganuwa, had filed a suit challenging the victory of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP).
Prior to the judgement day, some members of the NNPP and officials of the Kano State government had issued death threats to the judges handing the election matter.
Current matters gathered that as a result of the threats, the panel comprising three judges led by Justice Oluyemi Akintan – Osadebay would deliver judgement virtually rather than in-person in the courtroom.
