The Enugu governorship election petitions tribunal has declared Peter Mbah as the duly elected governor in the March 18 Governorship election in the state.
The tribunal struck out the Labour Party (LP) ’s allegations of over-voting and bypassing BVAS. against Mbah who contested the election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP.
It ruled that Mbah was duly elected by the majority of lawful and valid votes cast at the election.
In the judgement delivered on Thursday, the tribunal said it found no substantial grounds to support the LP’s claims and affirmed that Mbah overwhelmingly won the election.
