The Lagos State Police Commissioner, Idowu Owohunwa, has identified the auxiliary nurse, Feyisayo Ogedengbe, as the prime suspect in the death of singer Mohbad.
Owohunwa revealed this on Friday during a media briefing on the ongoing investigation into the singer’s death
He said, five suspects have been identified, arrested, detained, and interrogated regarding their alleged roles in the events leading to the singer’s death.
According to him, Feyisayo Ogedengbe, the auxiliary nurse, was contacted and invited by Ayobami Sadiq (a.k.a Spending), a friend of Mohbad, to treat the singer at his residence in Lekki, Lagos, on September 12, 2023. She administered three different injections, which are believed to have triggered the chain of reactions resulting in Mohbad’s death.
The commissioner said that Ogedengbe’s actions were not in line with standard medical protocols, as she was not qualified to administer such medications in a non-clinical environment, adding that her negligence had dire consequences.
