Bandits have again abducted two students of the Federal University Gusau in Zamfara State.
The students,a male and female were abducted in their off campus hostel around 9pm on Saturday in the Sabon Garin Damba area of Gusau, the state capital according to reports reaching current matters.
The bandits reportedly invaded the community about 8pm and shot sporadically to cause pandemonium during which they took their victims.
It was gathered that the fire power of security personnel against the bandits could not repel the attackers .
The attack came barely one month after bandits riding on about 50 motorcycles, armed with sophisticated weapons invaded three students off campus apartments in Sabon Gida village and kidnapped an unspecified number of students.
Zamfara has become very popular in Banditry which is linked to herdsmen/ farmers clash and illegal mining of gold resources in the state.
