The Canadian High Commission in Abuja has been gutted by fire.
Though the cause of the fire had not yet been disclosed to the public by the commission, current matters gathered that it might have been triggered by an explosion from its power generator sets.
The incident which happened on Monday morning reportedly led to the death of two persons while a few persons who were injured were rushed to the hospital. the Head of Operations of the FCT Fire Service, Amiola Adebayo was quoted as saying.
The Canadian High Commission is located on Diplomatic Drive in the neighborhood of the American Embassy and that of the Peoples Republic of China
